A full day seminar featuring Tim Harris, StarCom IP. This seminar is coordinated by Dr. Purush Papatla, Associate Professor in Marketing at the UWM School of Business.

Overview

The rapid growth of the World Wide Web offers new opportunities to businesses to communicate with customers and create strong brand images and lasting relationships. It also poses new challenges because businesses that don’t take advantage of the medium can fall behind and have their customers and markets taken away by web-savvy competitors. In this must-attend event, Tim Harris of StarCom IP will discuss the do’s and don’ts of using the World Wide Web to build brands and customer relationships.

About the speaker

Tim Harris is a Director at StarCom IP, the Internet advertising, marketing strategy and media planning unit of Leo Burnett. Leo Burnett is one of the world’s largest advertising agencies with 7.6 billion dollars in revenue for 1999. Starcoms current clients include: Miller Brewing Lego Nintendo McDonald’s US Army Destination Films Hallmark Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Kellogg’s General Motors Inc.com Sara Lee Proctor and Gamble Tim is in charge of ten clients, including Nintendo, the Miller Brewing Company and the US Army, and is personally responsible for agency billings in excess of $20 million. He has also pioneered innovations in online advertising including alternative pricing models and new methods to increase clients’ brand equity.
